I am a driven and detail-oriented Finance Major with a strong foundation in financial analysis, and data interpretation. Currently pursuing my degree in Finance, I have developed a passion for understanding markets, managing risk and applying analytical thinking to solve real-world financial problems.

Financial Analysis: Proficient in analyzing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and ratio analysis. I acquired these skills after completing our Business Analytics with MicroSoft Power Bi assignment. We reported and analyzed business activities, and business performance data. I used a business analytics tool to report on performance measures such as revenue and cost of goods sold; I then analyzed these measures from such perspectives as per product, per year or quarter, or per customer.

Quantitative & Analytical skills, Data Analysis & Excel Modeling: I have the ability to interpret large datasets, evaluate trends, and make data-driven decisions. This was covered in Mod2 Act 1 assignment which was Decision Support with MS Excel. Here we used absolute cell reference and MS Excel formulas, formatting and dynamic charts to analyze semi-structured and unstructured problems. The GBI dataset contained over 8,000 entries.

Team Collaboration: Effective team player with experience working on group projects, case studies, and business simulations. We worked on several case studies and other assignments in class in groups. We had to enroll in them all semester long and this is where obtained these skills.
This semester has been an exciting challenge for me. I stopped attending the California State University, Fresno in 2013. At that time AI was science fiction so coming back in 2025 and experiencing all its capabilities has been fascinating. Overcoming the 12-year layoff has been the toughest obstacle for me to overcome. Thanks to this course, I'm now familiar with Excel, PowerPoint, MicroSoft Power Bi and Pivot Tables. Wix is absolutely amazing and I very thankful it was included in this course.
